Heat can leak through the walls of the duct (thermal loss) and air can leak through its seams. Lower efficiency means you’ll be paying more when you get your energy bill. The Unico System ductwork has 1/3 the surface area of conventional ductwork and the supply tubing is wrapped with insulation, minimizing any air or thermal loss. The supply tubing also has an outer vapor barrier, which keeps nearly all of the thermal energy within the duct.
